direct-to-video recommendation

Seraphim Falls is a thoroughly awesome movie for many, many reasons, not the least of which is this line:
"What's yours will always return to you. What you take will always be taken from you."
I gotta confess, I didn't much care for Pierce Brosnan back in his Remington Steele days and I never could follow a James Bond movie all the way through, but between this movie and Grey Owl, I find myself with a new lease on fandom.
Thanks,
brdgt, for recommending! (BTW, I really liked The Proprosition, but between Nick Cave and Guy Pierce, you simply can't miss.)

The hype for Eastwood is well deserved.

In their defense, one of my Dad's favorite movies of ALL TIME is _Romancing the Stone_, which he would constantly try to tape off of the TV, only to have the tape run out before the end; this happened at least three different times.
