My only main advice is to weigh your suitcase before you go and make sure you have room for growth. It may be easier to bring two smaller suitcases- or even to put a smaller inside your larger so that when you come back you can have more room. They have gotten really strict on weight restrictions (50lbs BA and 70lb everyone else- *I think*) and it is worth it to check before you go!

Well ya already bought a great big suitcase but it's worth saying anyway..pack as light as you can. It's best to have little enough that you can carry comfortably for half a mile or maybe more..you ALWAYS have to do more walking with your luggage than you think you will. That's Rick Steves' single best piece of travel advice, IMNSHO!
