Hee! A TV special!

Clay Aiken fills that hole in my soul that demands to be filled with cheese. It is the void that can also be sated with Barry Manilow. WHO IS GOING TO BE ON THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!!! And with Megan Melally (sp?)! Hee! It'll be a veritable cheese fest!

Exactly. Actually they both appeared on SNL at the same time about a year ago. She was the host and he was the musical guest. Megan started her career on broadway so they did this big number with a bunch of gay broadway singers in white tuxes and then Clay was one of them. It was funny (to me).

Oh, I doubt it sincerely. Unless the Aiken comes out and gets a little dirtier, I think he'll remain a Manilow doppelganger (which doesn't make me love him less. I'm just honest about where he stands in the food chain.)

I don't get the whole American Idol thing. Not at all. The few times I've paused to watch it during channel surfing, I've actually been able to feel my life slowly burning away in those precious few seconds, totally wasted. I haven't paid attention to it since that Sideshow Bob guy was on.
