My power steering pump blew yesterday (I think).

I wonder how much this is going to cost/how long this is going to take.

Haven't heard from the shop yet, but am wondering if I ought to just go ahead and arrange for a rental for the next few days. And while I'm at it, take everything out of savings.

Hell, I still have four months till Istanbul, right? I still got all summer to make up the savings, right?

car update

it was the AC compressor. to the tune of $1800.

with my savings thusly wiped out, I'm feeling far too poor to get a rental.

I've done some incredibly stupid things but having 56 stars tattooed on my face is not one of them

Never having (or planning to get) a tattoo on my face, I don't know the likelihood of falling asleep during the procedure, but knowing how it feels to have them applied to other parts of the body, I'd have to say this girl's story is pretty bloody unlikely.

That said, I feel really sorry for her, and her stupidity.
