Never having (or planning to get) a tattoo on my face, I don't know the likelihood of falling asleep during the procedure, but knowing how it feels to have them applied to other parts of the body, I'd have to say this girl's story is pretty bloody unlikely.
That said, I feel really sorry for her, and her stupidity.
