I second the Dave Kendall vote for overall, but I had to pick Nina Blackwood because at that young, impressionable time, I had teased-hair-rock-girl aspirations. Martha and Alan are close runners-up though.
Baltimore City, in its infinite ghettoness, did not have any cable service during my childhood, ergo no MTV. I think they had it by the time I was a junior or senior in high school, but my folks decided not to get it because we'd gotten along just fine all these years without it, why pay money for it now? Within a year or two of my leaving for college they got it. I wound up not getting cable for myself until the mid-90's, and by then MTV didn't do music videos very much, and when they did, it wasn't anything I was particularly interested in... hip-hop and boy bands, as best I recall.
Definitely Mark Goodman. He seemed the most level-headed and least idiotic of them all (and Quinn was just TOO cute). I would have dated Mark Goodman, and that, of course, is what constitutes an effective Vee-Jay.
Remember hearing that Nina Blackwood was all over Jeff and was such a nasty slut? : D
Yeah, and I totally would have dated Alan Hunter. Lanky, Southern, red-haired, and not very bright, with a smile that could melt diamonds . . . what more could you want in a man? Plus he was in a David Bowie video!
