I read that Boobah are supposed to get kids up and moving- the bouncing and dancing supposedly encourages little ones to move around too. And they are kind of creepy, as were Teletubbies and Barney in their own time, but I suppose that at some point, as a parent you might just give in to whatever seems to make the kid happy, even if it is Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
