Honestly, if anyone ever told me I had to wear a burqa, I'd tell them to go fuck themselves. But that's not the point. The point is, nobody* gets to tell me what I can and can't wear. If anyone ever told me I couldn't wear my cowboy boots with a crinoline and stripey thigh-highs, I would also tell them to go fuck themselves. And if for some reason I ever wanted to wear a burqa, I'd like to see you try and stop me.
