some perspective

Not that I have anything against Valentine's Day ... it's just that, if I've done February 13th right (which this year I totally did, BTW), by the next day, there's nothing left. You spend the first 23 years of your life banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall, and the next 15 trying to make sense of it ...and a sticky handful of chocolate bonbons doesn't really matter all that much.

But, celebrate as you will. Or as you will not. It's all good. Today I love everyone, which is probably the same as loving no one, but there it is.
