Mistake #24321: Telling intense guys to lighten up because I think it might help them feel better

Note to all future guys I may chat up in bars under similar circumstances as yesterday:

Please don't assume, simply because I choose to embrace fun as my spiritual path, that when it comes to existensial crises and black pits of despair, I don't know what you're talking about, because it's entirely possible I may know what you're talking about better than even you do and that may be the very reason why I have chosen this particular road to enlightenment.
