I'm so ashamed of myself.

I watched two whole hours of American Idol auditions yesterday.

Seriously, I COULD NOT LOOK AWAY. It was that bad.

Although I have no interest in American Idol, I can watch people make fools of themselves on teeve for days.

My favorite was the "Let My People Go" guy.

loneliness vs. boredom

I'm never lonely, but I'm often bored.

I wonder if the state of consciousness I interpret as "boredom" is what other people perceive to be "loneliness."

What's the difference, anyway? In your experience, that is.
