sisterlocking?
Jun. 21st, 2007 12:02 pmAfter reading the latest entry in
lifeofaladybug, I'm all curious about the Sisterlock haircare method. I've never really been a fan of dreadlocks, despite (or perhaps because of) my hair's natural tendency to lock up if I turn my head too quickly, but these are different. Smaller. More delicate. Less sloppy-looking. Less like Bob Marley, more like braids. I like it. A lot. Hmmm.
PROS:
No more bad hair days
Won't/can't yank out the grays anymore
Daily care kept to a minimum
Little or no product needed to maintain
Goodbye frizz!!
CONS:
Lotsa time/money to start
Pretty much a lifetime committment
I lose my curls
Regular maintenance needed
