Yes, I understand how the rest of the world feels about America right now and believe me when I say I feel just awful about it and will do my part to change things come November 2nd, but I don't like anybody telling me what to do. My knee-jerk response to this letter-writing campaign, as an American, is "Mind your own fucking business," which I know is pretty much the attitude that got us in trouble in the first place, but there it is.
Cripes. If I, a bleeding-heart second-generation leftist liberal, takes offense at this, imagine what Joe Six-Pack from Ohio has to say . . . don't tread on me, you condescending limey bastards.
