1. Are you superstitious?
Yes, in that I definitely heed signs and omens. If the cosmos are trying to tell you something, it's in your best interests to listen.
2. What extremes have you heard of someone going to in the name of superstition?
I've heard of building being built without 13th floors and cities being planned without 13th streets. I think that's going a bit far.
3. Believer or not, what's your favorite superstition?
The one I really like right now is that if you make 1,000 paper cranes, your wish will come true. I'm hard at work on my cranes, even though I don't have a wish right now; hopefully I can apply the ones I've already made to my future wish once I know what it is. I also like the one about finding a penny heads up being good luck: when I find a penny tails up, I like to kick it until it flips over.
4. Do you believe in luck? If yes, do you have a lucky number/article of clothing/ritual?
Oh yes. However. we make our own luck. That said, my lucky number is 4 and my lucky necklace is the one made from my grandmother's rosary that was supposedly blessed by Pope Pius XII.
5. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?
No. I think the traits of each sign are univeral and apply to everyone to a certain extent. I'm a very un-Libra Libra. I do happen to date a lot of Geminis, but it's purely coincidental.
