Also, I agree. If the car is new to her and the previous owner was a crappy driver, they could have worn out the clutch quickly. But then that would be major suckage on their part and you'd have to worry about what the heck else did they ruin that badly.
Ugh. That's a big reason why I'm going to buy another new car and drive it for a decade. Peace of mind! All the damage is my own fault!
