I finally caught a glimpse of the kitty who's been living on my porch. S/he is small and black and very fluffy with golden eyes. S/he was in the box I put out for hir when I got home last night, but leapt out and ran away when I approached.

As long as the food dish is empty, I will keep refilling it, but because I really don't want three cats, I'm fine with our relationship the way it is.

I haven't seen any posters for a fluffy black kitty, but even so, this one is definitely feral. I've actually seen it running through my backyard a few times over the past several months.

We've got a feral black and white cat that runs around our neighborhood. S/he's at least a little spoiled, though--has tried a few times when we've got our garden door cracked to waltz right in.
