I don't get it, but then I never understood EPCOT either

Paris Museum puts Istanbul on Exhibit

Soooo, you could go to Paris to see Istanbul.

Or you could just, you know, GO TO ISTANBUL AND SEE IT FOR YOURSELF. And, while you're there, meet a lot of wondeful people and eat a lot of awesome food and drink apple tea with charming carpet salesmen.

(I have no love for Paris since those douchenozzles at Charles de Gaulle confiscated my conditioner.)

it's like that time my friend from high school was looking at my pictures from Paris and said "I feel like I've already seen all this at Epcot"

the look on our french-bellydancer friend's face (that she was trying to politely suppress) when my friend said that was absolutely priceless.

I'll admit - Epcot was always my favorite park. I loved visiting the countries - because I didn't have the opportunity as a kid - but how amazing was it when I was on the roof of St. Mark's Cathedral looking out on the REAL St. Mark's Square and realizing how much more amazing it was than the scaled-down model in Epcot?

oh gigi - i have it on my computer; may have to watch it when I have my lie - in Saturday. There's nothing I love like Betty Wand singing "I don't understand the Parisians/making love every time they get the chance"

I like the world's fair part of Epcot for the food and then decadent Canadian wool blanket I got there.

I got to use "Canadian" and "decadent" in the same phrase. That in itself justifies Epcot for me.
